The Free Methodist Experience

Compass Church is a family of ordinary people with a vision to demonstrate the love of God and proclaim the story of Jesus to all residents of Janesville.

Our Story

In 1988, sixteen adults & nineteen children, members of the Janesville Free Methodist Church were granted permission by the North Central Conference of the FMCUSA to plant a contemporary church to reach young families of their generation. In 2015, we changed our name to Compass Church to facilitate our mission to providing a contemporary witness to our generation. Following Jesus as The Way, we Navigate Life Together and we invite everyone to join us in this amazing journey!
